Free Somatics Workshop

FREE SOMATICS WORKSHOP – 11th May | 09:30 – 11:00

We’ll be honest, it’s quite hard to put Somatics into simple terms. What we can tell you is that the Somatics approach to pain-relief is different from any other method you’ve tried up until now.

Somatics describes any practice that uses the mind-body connection to help you listen to the signals your body sends about areas of pain, discomfort or imbalance. The techniques taught help you increase bodily awareness through a combination of movement and relaxation.

Unlike other more typical workouts, you’re not trying to do as many exercises as possible, Instead you perform exercises in a way that teaches you something about your body and its movements. These exercises can help you learn more efficient and effective ways of moving and replace older, less painful or less helpful patterns of movement.

In other words, by helping you pay more attention to areas of injury or discomfort in your body, gentle somatic exercises can teach you how to make changes in movement, posture and body language to reduce pain.

A daily routine of easy, safe, and deeply effective movements practiced daily has been shown to restore muscle control and awareness, and eliminate chronic muscle pain. Somatics can also improve balance and coordination, while increasing range of movement especially in older adults.

Ready to give it a try?

We’re running a FREE workshop to introduce Somatics and to show you…

  • how and why muscles become habitually tight and painful and contribute to recurring injury and poor posture.
  • how your movement habits and reflexive responses to stress contribute to low back pain, neck, shoulder, hip and joint pain, sciatica, and chronic headaches.
  • how to lengthen muscles safely without stretching – and how to apply this technique to your workout routine.
  • somatic solutions for recovery from most common muscle pain conditions.

Places are limited. Sign up now to avoid disappointment.
